HONOR to ITALY!

He lives in ITALY, in MUGGIA, the most northeastern city in Italy, on the border with Slovenia.

His name is Luca SACCOMANI, he is 53 years old and is passionate about the POCLAIN brand.

He has been working with earthmoving machinery for 32 years and for 6 years was lucky enough to use a Poclain 61 tire from 1986 on a daily basis.

For two years he has been restoring a 90CKB (in his opinion the most beautiful earthmoving machine ever built) with great effort, and despite the lack of spare parts, and the lack of qualified personnel to help him repair the mechanics. Nevertheless, he managed to make it as beautiful and elegant as the original, and even functional, although some mechanical problems still remain.

A big congratulations to Luca and his perseverance in carrying out all this work, the Foundation is committed to providing him with all the elements and technical information he still needs to finalize this superb restoration.

NEW ITEMS IN THE SHOP FOR GIFTS FOR YOUR CHILDREN OR GRANDCHILDREN!

The "RED ANT" which was the symbol of the advertising campaign for the launch of the 35 CK in 1985 under the title "The Construction Site Ant", now illustrates a brand new T-shirt for children!

White cotton T-shirt, design and text on the front and Poclain logo on the left sleeve.

Two sizes available (see in the shop):

6 - 8 years and 10 - 12 years

The 35CK was a first attempt at introducing small machines that have become the essential MINI EXCAVATORS present today on all construction sites

The drawing of the Red Ant is a creation of our friend Jacques BOUTREL, graphic designer of the Poclain Sales Promotion and Advertising department, which he designed for this occasion and which was widely used for the launch of this advertising campaign!

A RESTORATION COMPLETED!
TX 01b copy.jpg

I was the star of the May 1st open day, but I wasn't yet equipped with my new wheels... This was done thanks to our friend Guy who took care of setting up and mounting my new shoes! Thanks to him!

"OPEN HOUSE" on May 1st... "OPERATION SUCCESSFUL!"

From 9:30 a.m., they were there, the red color enthusiasts, faithful to the meetings that the Foundation organizes every year on this date.

A special year when the Foundation offered for the first time the possibility of having access to and acquiring some original copies of the numerous documentation published by Poclain since its creation, and of which the Foundation had in its archives in several copies.

After a lot of sorting and selection work, we decided to make a whole series of technical and commercial documents available to collectors of the brand.

Technical descriptions, driving and maintenance manuals, repair manuals, commercial descriptions, inter Poclain, photos (original prints), advertising objects, etc.

In the shaded area at the rear of the Foundation, an exhibition area was on display, featuring two of the Foundation's latest restorations: a TX and the TO with its Massey Ferguson tractor.

Many visitors were always passionate about the activities we offer, and happy to share their professional experience with the Foundation team.

Many thanks to everyone who helped us organize this day, to the municipality of Le Plessis Belleville and to the small team at the Foundation who prepared this event.
